Hi! I’m Rachel.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker originally from Orlando, Florida, now proudly serving clients in Georgia and Florida. I hold a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Central Florida.

My professional background includes providing mental health services within Florida state prisons, where I facilitated psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and group therapy for diverse and high-need populations. This work deeply shaped my clinical lens, strengthening my ability to hold space for complex trauma, resilience, and transformation. I later transitioned into working for a telehealth mental health company committed to expanding therapy access to remote and underserved communities.

Through these experiences, I discovered a strong calling to support women navigating self-doubt, perfectionism, overthinking, and the weight of constantly putting others’ needs before their own. If you see yourself in this, you are not alone. It would be an honor to walk alongside you as you work toward the goals that matter most to you.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in the belief that you are the expert of your own life and lived experiences. My role is not to “fix” you, but to meet you where you are and help guide you toward tools, insight, and healing. Together, we’ll explore patterns that may be contributing to burnout, overwhelm, or self-sacrifice, while building skills that help you feel more seen, valued, and aligned.

I integrate evidence-based modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques, Motivational Interviewing techniques, mindfulness practices, and trauma-informed care.

I identify as she/her and as a Latina therapist, and I’m passionate about providing culturally informed therapy that honors the intersection of identity, culture, family dynamics, and lived experience. Creating a space where clients feel safe, understood, and represented is central to my work.

Outside of being a mental health therapist, I enjoy traveling, spending time with friends and family, practicing yoga, being near the water, reading, and meditating.

Here at Elemental Mental Health Services, my intention is to help you feel more balanced in your life — and more in your element.
